Introduction to Program Evaluation

The Nova Scotia Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society will begin the new year with a one-day introductory workshop on program evaluation and developing evaluation frameworks. This is a great opportunity to learn about evaluation - from both the workshop and from others involved in evaluation.

Who Should Attend?

This is a beginner level workshop for anyone interested in evaluation- whether you conduct evaluations yourself, need to contract evaluators, or manage projects, this workshop will be of great interest to you.

Workshop Topic

The purpose of this workshop is to introduce participants to basic evaluation concepts and to help them understand how and why evaluation should be conducted. Topics to be discussed include: Types of Evaluation, Program Description and Logic Model, Data Collection and Analysis, Communicating Evaluation Findings and Creating an Evaluation Culture.

Cost

Members: $40.00
Non-Members: $60.00
Registration includes lunch and nutrition breaks
